The occasion was my cousin’s bridal shower and I knew that the theme was floral for the day. Before the day of the event, I knew I wanted a dress of high quality and a dress I could rely on, so a designer dress was my first option since I wanted to both look and feel confident in whatever I chose to wear.
I’ve never purchased from this designer before, but I always kept an eye out on their dresses because they’re very much my style. At the same time I also kept my eye on the GlamCorner Instagram page, and when I came across the Dreamers LS Lace Mini Dress, I knew it would be on my list of options. In the end I chose this dress because it fit the theme of the bridal shower, the length didn’t seem too short for me as a tall girl, and the bright colour assured me that it would stand out on the day. Plus it was super cute and so easy to style because it was more of a statement dress.
This was my first time renting a dress, and I considered it because I have a habit of spending a lot of money on dresses that I’ll only wear once and never again. Renting was the best decision I made because I could wear a beautiful dress at a lesser price and all I had to do was return it later. The process was so much easier than spending a lot of money on a high quality dress then only wearing it once and feeling as if it was a waste. It was so much more convenient for me this way.
I’ve been following GlamCorner for a while now on Instagram along with a few other rental boutiques but I chose to go with GlamCorner because they had more reliable reviews and they seemed very efficient in things like sizing and delivery. I was confident that I would have a dress arrive on time for my event and that I wouldn’t have to stress about having to find another dress if that one didn’t come in time. I also loved the fact that GlamCorner had the option of renting a second back-up dress which, although I didn’t use, I definitely will take advantage of it next time if need be.
