Our beautiful Enmore based customer Elizabeth had her Regimental Ball to attend recently and wanted to wear something extra glam for the special occasion! She chose to hire our amazing siren red ball gown by Jovani, a luxury label from New York. Here she shares more about her GlamCorner rental experience:
Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
I had my Regimental Ball which comes around every couple of years. Because I spend so much time in a baggy green camouflage uniform, I wanted something with a wow factor. As soon as I saw it online I knew it was perfect.
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I wanted something with some serious glam and I just didn’t have that in my wardrobe (or in my budget.) I was also working and studying full time so being able to try the dress on in my own home and having it delivered 2 days before the event was perfect.
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
I’d seen Jovani dresses online and knew that they were sexy, glamorous and red! I had been looking online and in stores for about a year trying to find the perfect dress and was so lucky when it showed up as a new arrival on GlamCorner.
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time?
I had rented from GlamCorner a couple of years ago and found the experience just as good then as it was now. I’ve spent money on dresses that I wear once and never wear again so I couldn’t see the point of buying something that would be straight to the back of my cupboard. It also meant I could wear something that was really special without spending close to $1000.

Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?
I found it online and was hooked from the first order!
How was you overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?
I would 10/10 recommend GlamCorner to anyone. I had so many questions about my dress and I told them straight away I had hired it. The customer service was excellent, they assisted a last minute address change and the dress came in perfect condition and beautifully packaged. I felt so incredible on the night I couldn’t have imagined wearing anything else.
